Otto Schoenthal

Schönthal, Otto, b. Vienna, Aug. 10, 1878, d. Vienna, Dec. 31, 1961.

Architect. Studied with Otto Wagner from 1898-1902, then worked as Wagner´s assistant in the latter´s atelier; from 1909 published the journal "Der Architekt"; 1909-1918 atelier with Emil Hoppe and Marcel Kammerer. When Kammerer left he continued with Hoppe until 1938; in exile during the Nazi era; after 1945 had his own atelier in Vienna. Probably the intellectual head of this group of architects.

Tölk), Vienna, 16th district, 1924-1928; Zürcher Hof, Vienna, 10th district, 1928-1930. - Alone: Villa Vojcsik >>, Vienna 14th district, 1900-1901; Eiselberghof, Vienna 5th district, 1948-1950.
