The most outstanding Danish architect of the twentieth century, Arne Jacobsen, designed buildings and furniture that combined the best techniques of the industrial world with the finest materials and craftsmanship. His personal talent for designing simple but sophisticated spaces and his ability for finding solutions led him to design many buildings in Denmark and abroad, his most famous being the SAS Royal Hotel in Copenhagen. In this one building he designed everything down to the hotels cuterly.
